El Nido FAQs

1. How do I get from Puerto Princesa to El Nido?

There are buses and shuttle vans that make the 227 kilometer trip between these two destinations. Buses tend to be slower but more comfortable and cheaper while vans are faster but cramped and more expensive.

To get to San Jose Terminal (bus station) where they have the buses and vans you will need to take a tricycle from the airport. Drivers around the airport area will ask you to pay 150 pesos but if you’re willing walk a little further it will cost 20 pesos per person.
