Weekly Photo Challenge: CONTRASTS
As is the case every year “the Chef” and I exit the grey slush of the city to re-energize in the quiet solitude of Northern Ontario.
Only this time, instead of gleefully snowshoeing across picturesque frozen lakes we’re forced by bone chilling temperatures to hibernate in our tiny motel room. There’s not much to do but channel surf. As darkness slowly descends my mind goes numb.
Suddenly, Gus catches my eye. The light of the cheap motel lamp has cast the most photogenic light on him. I give him the command to stay as I snap away at the wonderful CONTRASTS of light and dark.
